Attendance, Punctuality, and Dress Code Policy
At WaterHub, professionalism, punctuality, and preparation are essential. Whether you’re attending training, meetings, or customer demos, these guidelines ensure you present yourself and the company in the best possible light.
1. Punctuality in Training:
- Importance of Being On Time for Training:
Training is the foundation for your success at WaterHub. Arriving on time demonstrates respect for your trainers and fellow team members. - What’s Expected:
You are expected to arrive at least 5-10 minutes early for each training session to ensure we can start promptly and make the most of our time together. - Notify Your Manager if Late:
If you anticipate being late for training, inform the office of your tardiness prior to the session. If required in-class hours are not met, you will be removed from training. A minimum of 12 in-class hours are required to be eligible for the certification program.
2. Attendance Commitment:
- Training and Meetings:
Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and internal meetings is crucial for your professional growth. - Customer Demos:
Punctuality at demos is essential as these provide opportunities to showcase our products to customers. - Planned Absences:
If you need to miss a meeting or a demo, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to your manager so that adjustments can be made. - Unplanned Absences:
In case of emergencies or illness, inform your manager as soon as possible, ideally before the start of your shift.
3. Punctuality & Demo Preparation:
- Be on Time:
Punctuality is crucial for all training, meetings, and demos. If you expect to be late, notify your manager at least 30 minutes before the event so necessary adjustments can be made. - Plan Ahead:
For customer demos, planning your route ahead of time is essential to ensure timely arrival. - Prepare Your Equipment:
Always double-check that you have all required equipment and materials before heading to a demo to ensure a seamless experience. Ensure equipment refill needs are taken care of during sales meetings.
4. Dress Code for Training, Meetings, and Demos:
- Clothing:
Business casual attire is required for training sessions and internal meetings. Full uniform and badge are required for customer demos. Ensure clothes are clean, wrinkle-free, and well-fitted, reflecting professionalism. - Hair and Beard Cleanliness:
Hair should be neat, clean, and well-groomed. Beards should be trimmed and maintained for a tidy appearance. - Why This Matters:
A professional appearance reflects your commitment to the role and the company’s values. Clean, well-groomed employees inspire confidence and leave a lasting positive impression on customers.
5. Impact of Missed Sessions or Demos:
- Missing multiple meetings or demos without proper notice or a valid reason may result in a review of your contract with WaterHub and can result in your immediate dismissal.
- If challenges arise, communicate with your manager to explore potential solutions or adjustments.
